Nature of Hazard:-

All material with which this products comes into contact must be acid proof as phosphorus oxychloride reacts spantaneously with water to form hydrochloric acid and various phosphoric acids.

Spillage:-

Incase of leakage apply sodium silicate or graphite powder at the point of leakage cover leaked material with earth/dry sand.wash the affected area with alkaline water.

Fire:-

Extinguish with dry chemical powder carbin dioxide and prevents fire from spreading keep containercool it exposed to fire by spraying with water if it can be ensured that water will not come in contact with POCL3

Important:-

In case of body contact all affected body parts with a dry clean cloth throughly before washing with plentyof water and then follow up with first and procedure.

Firstaid:-

Call a physician immediately in case of contact with eyes treat immediately with copious amount of water and consult a doctor in case of inhalation of large amount of vapours treat the respirator organs with pure oxygen
